Why The Fed Is Bad For America

Welcome back to Talking Stocks Over a Beer.

On today’s episode, I start off with my educational segment, where I discuss everything from last week’s stock market rally to the new steel tariffs to North Korea. I also answer one of the major questions I get from my listeners: what my process is for finding new investments.

Then later, I welcome Danielle DiMartino Booth, founder of Money Strong LLC and author of “Fed Up: An Insider’s Take on Why the Federal Reserve is Bad for America.”

Previously, Danielle had a successful career on Wall Street, then served as an advisor to Richard W. Fisher, president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, until March 2015.

Today, Danielle shares with us in shocking detail the internal workings (and biggest mistakes) of the Federal Reserve, why no steps have been taken to correct those mistakes—and the breaking point that led to her writing her incredible tell-all book.

Danielle also provides us with some great insight on current Fed Chairman Jerome Powell—including how he differs from the previous three Fed chairs, and what she’d advise Powell to do if asked…

There’s so much great information in this interview.

So without further ado, let’s get started…
